Floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facilities provide flexibility that enables the monetization of assets through liquefaction of natural gas in remote areas. They reduce development costs and project timelines. FLNG solutions also are being considered for exporting onshore gas reserves or gas from an inland pipeline network by locating the liquefied natural gas (LNG) production facility near-shore.  

We have more than a half century of LNG experience with 35 plants in operation globally. Our patented efficient and simple PRICO® technology is modular and scalable — ideal for multiple types of LNG configurations, including both offshore and nearshore applications. PRICO® offers several innovative, low-cost FLNG configurations.   

Our PRICO® single mixed refrigerant (SMR) became the world’s first proven FLNG technology to achieve production on a floating facility in 2016. With more than 20 FLNG conceptual studies, pre-FEEDs and FEEDs under our belt, our solutions have expanded to include multiple configurations:

• Conversion – Small to mid Scale

• Existing / new LNG carrier

• Existing bulk carrier
